We had the pleasure of working with the team at A Lending Hand Home Care to bring their online presence to life and give this family-owned Sarasota agency a digital home that truly reflects who they are. From our initial discovery call to launching their new site in August, we worked closely with the A Lending Hand team to translate two decades of hands-on, relationship-driven caregiving into a website that feels just as personal as the care they provide.

At the heart of this project was a simple but powerful idea: A Lending Hand isn’t a call center, and their website shouldn’t feel like one either. Every page was built around the differentiators that set them apart in a market crowded with large, corporate home care franchises, an owner who personally answers the phone 24/7 with no answering service in the way, the same caregiver returning visit after visit instead of a rotating cast of strangers, and a caregiver vetting process that goes beyond the state’s minimum requirements to include local records checks most competitors skip entirely. We made sure these weren’t buried in a paragraph of copy, but front and center where a worried family member searching late at night would see them immediately.

The new site walks families through the full continuum of care A Lending Hand offers, from personal care and companion care to specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s support, respite care for exhausted family caregivers, and transition care for loved ones coming home after a hospital stay or surgery. Rather than treating these as a flat service list, we built clear, plain-language pages that help families self-identify which level of care actually fits their situation, reducing confusion during an already stressful decision.

We also took care to address the practical realities families face once they’re ready to move forward, explaining the difference between a home health agency and a nurse registry, clarifying what Florida law does and doesn’t allow a companion caregiver to do, and creating space to talk honestly about long-term care insurance navigation, a service most agencies never mention until a family is already overwhelmed with paperwork.

Geographically, the site was built to grow with A Lending Hand’s ambitions in Sarasota’s surrounding communities, with dedicated attention to the seasonal, well-established client base in Longboat Key and Siesta Key, alongside honest, transparent coverage of the broader service area, including where the agency draws the line on how far they’ll travel and why.

The result is a warm, trustworthy, and easy-to-navigate website that mirrors the way A Lending Hand actually operates: personally, honestly, and with the same caregiver showing up every time. It positions them as the clear alternative to impersonal franchise agencies in the Sarasota market, and gives families a fast, low-stress path to scheduling a free in-home assessment, the single most important action on the entire site.
