Project Details

United States Awning is a family-owned shade manufacturer with roots dating back to 1870, when the company began as a Chicago tent maker before relocating to Sarasota in the 1950s. Today, the company designs, manufactures, and installs custom fabric and metal awnings, retractable awnings, motorized screens, and pergolas throughout Southwest Florida. It is also the exclusive Sunesta retractable awning dealer in the region and the exclusive Sundance louvered pergola manufacturer for seven Gulf Coast counties.

The previous website no longer reflected the size, experience, or capabilities of the company. It made United States Awning appear primarily focused on smaller residential projects, even though commercial work makes up a large portion of the business. It also did not give each of the company’s major products and services enough space to stand on their own.

We rebuilt the website to better represent United States Awning as an established custom manufacturer serving both residential and commercial clients. The new site includes dedicated pages for its major product lines, a commercial projects section designed to showcase larger-scale work, and location pages for Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice.

We also created a long-term content strategy to help the company continue growing its online presence after launch. The plan includes helpful cost guides, product comparisons, maintenance resources, brand-focused content, and additional location pages for areas such as Tampa, Lakewood Ranch, and St. Petersburg.

Overall, the new website gives United States Awning a stronger, more accurate representation of the company it is today while creating a clear foundation for continued growth in Southwest Florida and beyond.
